Course Overview
In this course you will learn about the fundamental chemical and physical make up and properties of materials used in nonwovens fabrics and the manufacturing processes used to produce nonwovens. Nonwoven Manufacturing Process Fundamentals covers the relationships between the structural properties of nonwovens and the production process. This course is a bridge between our introductory course to nonwovens and advanced courses focused on specific aspects of nonwovens processes.
A B.S. degree in engineering, textiles or nonwovens on the job is suggested.
