MemFAST Membership

MemFAST offers membership to both small and large companies to join as an active partner and participant.  Details are found in the following documents:

Membership Agreement
MemFAST Prospectus
MemFAST Bylaws

TOP TEN REASONS TO JOIN MemFAST

  1. Research Cost Avoidance. Member initiated MemFAST Center Research programs focus on fundamental issues faced by today's filtration industry.  Results from such programs replace information that each member company would have to generate internally cutting their research cost.  The results of the research are proprietary to MemFAST and its member companies.  Members may negotiate an exclusive or non-exclusive license to technologies developed by the center.
  1. Research Amplification. MemFAST Center Research programs support and enhance our members' internal proprietary research.
  1. Non-center Research Cost Reduction. Proprietary research developed and funded entirely by one or more companies is available to members at a reduced cost.
  1. Technology Transfer. MemFAST is engaged in a very active program in the form of:
    1. courses taught at plant sites,
    2. MemFAST short courses,
    3. industrial internships,
    4. focused seminars, symposia, and conferences and one-on-one consulting.
  1. Product Development. MemFAST has extensive pilot capabilities available to its members at reduced fees.
  1. Analytical Services. MemFAST has extensive analytical capabilities available to its members at reduced fees.
  1. Training.  MemFAST student graduates represent an important human resource for member companies.  MemFAST also trains operators in emerging technologies in its state-of-the-art facilities.
  1. Industrial Networking. MemFAST companies interact routinely with the center through semi-annual meetings and workshops - a great forum for networking!
  1. University Networking. MemFAST projects involve multiple Universities and faculty members within each university partner.  These contacts can be invaluable for future developments.
  1. Access to Trained Students. MemFAST members will have an opportunity to observe, mentor and work with graduate students active in MemFAST research programs.  These students will be ideal candidates as potential employees upon completion of their graduate work.
